Well thanks to all for your thoughts. I looked like the vote was to take the bike to another mechanic. Here is Central Florida there are several large dealerships, but most deal in selling new stock, or servicing jet skis. I am somewhat new to this area, and the local bike shop is an over seas you name it we sell it kind of place. I asked around and found a small shop on the outskirts of town. I am going to run the bike over there this week. I did manage to get the bike running over the long weekend, but I dont trust it yet.

The only response I would like to make is to Jim, I dont think I am barking up the wrong tree in asking this forum. I do like the bike, I wouldnt have bought it if I ddn't, It has the size, general apperance, and overall rideability that my wife is looking for. All I am asking is the general reputation, and help on repairs of the Savage. Who better to ask than the riders? I think the riders here have given me honest answers. Granted pretty ballsey of the dealer to comment like that, but wouldnt we be just as ballsey to only give praise to the Savage, just based on owning them? I do agree with trading in the dealer though, which is a shame.
Well again thanks to all, I will keep you posted.
